Continental Ranch loses managment company
The Continental Ranch Community Association board, now down to five members, will have to act fast to find someone new to manage the neighborhood. "The board’s going to have to make a decision and find a new management company," said Tanis Duncan, a lawyer representing the homeowners association.The board could elect to manage the area in-house, or find another external agency like Platinum, Duncan said. Platinum parted ways with Continental Ranch earlier this month because "so much turmoil was going on" and the situation was getting "too onerous," said William Walker, an attorney for Platinum Management.Platinum is a local company that manages more than 30 homeowners associations, Walker said. The three other appointed board members are not up for Thursday’s recall.Earlier this month, four board members faced with recall resigned their posts.
